Richmond School in the heart of Maraenui, Napier is an open and caring learning environment. We have 150 of the best RICH KIDS in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. We celebrate our RICH COMMUNITY of Māori, Pasifika(Samoan) and Pākehā. We have an outstanding, innovative, passionate and caring TEAM, who have unconditional AROHA for our students and their wellbeing.

Within our learning environment we promote and facilitate RICH KIDS who are Rich in Skills and Rich in Belief. With this self-belief, skills and tools for learning, we are creating future leaders and outstanding global citizens.

Our responsive and inclusive curriculum is focused on our Rich Kids, their culture, their whanau and community. We are a strengths focused school where we see the potential in our students and support and guide them to be their best.

Our Rich Kid students were visited by the Apple Education Team who were amazed by the way the Rich Kids were able to design, create and share their learning.

Our ERO review in December 2015 was fantastic, and highlights were: “Students learn in culturally and digitally rich environments, in ways that support their sense of ownership, confidence and pride in learning. School leaders and teachers promote relational trust and partnerships for learning.”
